Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be assessed upon the following weight of elements calculated in a scale from 0 to 100 points

  1. Academic value of the application – maximum of 58 points, including:
    • grades in transcript – 22 points,
    • relevance of degree and courses taken to the programme, for which the application is submitted – 6 points,
    • academic experience and achievements (awards, certificates, distinctions, etc.) – 10 points,
    • documented non-academic experience – 10 points,
    • knowledge of foreign languages – 10 points.
  2. Motivation – maximum of 30 points, including:
    • motivation to study at this programme and university – 15 points,
    • relevance and originality of research topic and academic goals presented in the application – 15 points ;
  3. References – maximum of 12 points (2 letters of reference, each maximally receiving 6 points), including:
    • endorsement of candidate's compatibility with the programme,
    • interest in the intended field of study,
    • student's capabilities and expected academic performance in the intended programme.
