Study abroad eligibility:
All candidates for Study Abroad at the Centre for European Studies must be students in good standing at a recognised university. Although students will find previous study of liberal arts or social sciences useful, CES is an interdisciplinary unit and does not lay down any rigid requirements as regards the subject matter of current degree studies. The official language of instruction in the international programme at the Centre for European Studies is English. Non-English native speakers are required to prove their English language proficiency. The minimum requirements are one of the following: TOEFL Paper-based - 550 TOEFL Computer-based - 213 TOEFL Internet-based - 79 Cambridge IELTS written version - 6.5 CAE - B grade CPE - C grade More subjective measures of proficiency (recommendations from teachers, non-standard tests, etc.) are a helpful addition to the student's application but are not a substitute for one of the five tests above. Previous proficiency in the Polish language is not required in the international programme at the Centre for European Studies. |
