Study Abroad admissions procedure:
When making an application for study abroad at the Centre for European Studies at the Jagiellonian University, candidates must submit:
- completed application
- written approval of study at the Jagiellonian University from their academic adviser, study abroad counsellor and/or Registrar of their home institution
- a transcript or other record of their academic achievements including degrees earned
- a curriculum vitae (resumé)
- four passport photographs
- a non-refundable registration fee of 150 Polish zloty (or its equivalent in another currency)
- a photocopy of the first page of your passport if available (showing photograph and name)
- proof of English proficiency (non-native speakers only) - see Eligibility
All documents must be sent to Kraków at the latest (as postmarked) by:
15 October 2008
for the spring 2009 semester (starting February 2009)
30 March 2009 for the autumn 2009 semester (starting September 2009)
15 October 2009 for the spring 2009 semester (starting February 2010)
Extensions to the deadline may be granted in rare cases to exceptional students on the written recommendation of a full faculty member of their previous university.
After an application has been considered, a candidate is sent a letter of acceptance or rejection. A reply to regular applications will be mailed to the student's home institution no later than one calendar month after the deadline for the semester.
