About

Author of 550 publications, from which 40 have high impact factor. Her specialization is concentrated on International Economic Relations embracing economic integration, institutional ties, trade agreements, role of international environment in systemic transformation, economic security, EMU, EU budget, etc. In the past she has worked in Polish Institute of International Affairs in International Economic Department (1977-1993); Institute for Development and Strategic Studies (1992-2000), since 1997 she started to work at WSE.

Professor Żukrowska has participated in a number of international research projects like V, VI, VIIth EU Framework Programs, Leonardo da Vinci, VW, followed by Polish projects financed by Ministry of Education, Research Committee, and foundations research functioning in Poland.  She has worked as an expert for UN, OECD, NATO (Economic Colloquium), EU Commission (Scientific &Research Directorate) with different functions (evaluator, adviser to Chancellor). She had foreign scholarships in Pittsburgh (USA), East-West Security Studies (now East West Studies Institute) in New York (USA), Chatham House - Royal Institute for International Studies, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sofia,  Mexico, Montreal, etc.
